The rice of cascina San Lorenzo is of the excellent variety S. Andrea, grown on our farm.

This rice belongs to the class of fine - grained rices, wich are rices of higt quality used both in soup and dry. 

Particulary original is the unting of rice with salami specialites.

The rice is also used with salami to cook for original recipes, like the "panissa" a typical recipe of the Po plain with rice, salsiccia and beans
